A vacancy has arisen for a seasoned Service Manager at Hino Shelly Beach, South Coast of KwaZulu - Natal. Accountable for the effective management of Budget (Cost and Sales), Key Stakeholder Engagements, Service and Technical, Fitment and Express, Compliance, and People Development. Assume accountability for effective management of service excellence (fitments and express) and support the Dealer Principal.
Ensure cost containment and growth, as per the agreed budget. Manage workshop cash outstanding and work in progress and provide feedback to Finance and Administration. Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders. Reaching and exceeding targets while ensuring cost containment and growth in line with budget. Managing workshop cash flow, invoicing processes, and provide updates to Finance and Administration. Ensuring exceptional customer experience, resolve complaints, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Implementing operational plans, conduct audits, oversee LEAN practices, and manage departmental KPIs. Overseeing workshop flow, parts interface, team marketing efforts, and uphold housekeeping standards.
Ideally the candidate must have Grade 12 / Matric, relevant technical qualification, and driver's license.
Minimum 2 years general management experience in the automotive / truck industry. Minimum 5 years truck, service ,and technical experience. Hino Products and processes would be advantageous.
