Overview of Role

A vacancy has arisen at Halfway Durban Central - KwaZulu - Natal, for a qualified technician to assist the workshop team by providing an efficient technical and mechanical service.

Responsibilities

Maintaining vehicles that are out of warranty, preparing vehicles for delivery, assisting with vehicle breakdowns, must be able to do electronic fault finding and other general workshop duties.

Qualification

Grade 12 and ideally the applicant should have completed a relevant technical qualification, and a Code 10 / 8 valid Driver's license.

Experience

Ideally the candidate should have 3 years work experience within a motor dealership. Advanced automotive maintenance, removal & replacement knowledge/skills. Advanced automotive diagnostic knowledge/skills.

Personal Characteristics

Candidate must be friendly, reliable be prepared to work well under pressure.
