Overview of Role

A vacancy has become available for Repair Shop Assistant (RSA) at Hey Halfway Tyger Valley Western Cape.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be required to assistant technicians improve the productivity and efficiency of the workshop by providing a competent technical diagnostic and repair service. Duties will include; Support Lead technicians, Perform preventative
maintenance tasks, Repair and replace automotive parts, Provide diagnostic support, Maintain customer and vehicle records, Support shop cleanliness and safety.

Qualification

The successful candidates must have matric/grade 12, technical knowledge and must have a valid driver's license.

Experience

The successful candidates must have basic working knowledge of automotive parts and service of at least 2-3 years in a workshop, Some experience with vehicle diagnostics and problem-solving. The candidate should be able successfully work in a team setting and
coordinate their activites with other technicians.

Personal Characteristics

The role requires excellent attention to detail, both in providing support to lead technicians and gaining familiarity with repair and maintenance practices for career advancement.
