Overview of Role

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Apprentice Mechanic - Petrol at Halfway Toyota George.

 This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to develop their technical skills within Halfway Group. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will undergo both practical and theoretical training in the petrol mechanic trade. The candidates will assist qualified technicians with servicing and repairing vehicles, complete the required theoritical preparation in their own time and contribute to maintaining high standards housekeeping and workshop cleanliness.  

Qualification

• The successful candidate must have Grade 12 (Matric).  Mathematics or Technical Mathematics and Physical Sciences will be advantageous.
• Must meet the entry requirements for the relevant QCTO Occupational Certificate. 
• A valid South African driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one).
• Computer literate.

Experience

Workshop related experience would be an added advantage.

The suitable candidate must be a team player with the ability to interact effectively with other staff members.
