Overview of Role

Fairies Cleaning Services has a vacancy for a Washbay Teamleader in Port Shepstone. To be able to train and work with the cleaners with the right process and flows that have been put into place and to report to your supervisor. The employment decision will be informed by the Employment Equity Plan and Workforce Profile requirements. Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to check that the correct processes and flows are adhered to in the whole wash bay. To teach the staff on how to perform their duties. To ensure all machines are fixed and serviced monthly. Inform the supervisor of any damages. Deal with complaints and requests with politeness. To ensure stock consumables are maintained at the required level. Adhere to all rules on health and safety and any other rules that the client has put in place. To do all the paperwork that is required by management.

Qualification

Ideal candidates should have Matric / Grade 12, applicants should have a valid driver’s license code 8 /or C1.

Experience

Experience as a cleaner. To be able to teach and work with cleaners and still maintain the high standards that Fairies have put in place. Be able to take control of a situation and to react efficiently when there is a crisis on hand. Customer friendly. Time management skills, and knowledge of the English language.

The ideal candidate must be friendly, helpful, communicate well and be physically strong as the job is physically demanding.
