Overview of Role

Halfway Hino Shelly Beach has a vacancy for a Qualified Diesel Technician with at least three (3) years post qualification experience and experience within a dealership environment. The successful candidate will be required to provide efficient technical, diagnostic, and repair services.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to improve the productivity and efficiency of the workshop by providing a competent technical, diagnostic, and repair service. Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and within reasonable timeframes and with quality of work that exceeds customer expectations. Knowledgeable, understands, and performs all duties of a vehicle repair technician. Observes and follows safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. Assists other staff in the service department if business necessitates. 

Qualification

The applicants must have passed their trade test.

Have a matric/ grade 12.

Valid driver's license.

Experience

The applicants must have at least three years post apprentice experience.

Experience in the servicing, diagnosis and repair of trucks within a dealership environment is essential. 

The successful candidate should be friendly, have good communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.
