Overview of Role

A vacancy has arisen for an Apprentice Mechanic - Petrol at Halfway Durban Central. This is a trainee role that is suited for someone who has a passion for motor mechanics. Previous mechnaical experience is advantegeous. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undergo practical and theoretical training in the petrol mechanic field. Assist the technician with servicing and repairs, undertake theoretical preparation in own time and assist with good housekeeping. Provide technical assistance within the workshop. 

Qualification

Applicants must have a Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science and preferably have N2 Mechanical certificate. The applicants must also be in possession of a valid drivers licence and be computer literate. 

Experience

Workshop related experience would be an added advantage.

Personal Characteristics

Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to interact with other staff members.
