Overview of Role

Lexus Pretoria, Gauteng, is looking for a Technician to join their team. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving workshop productivity and operational efficiency by delivering a high standard of technical expertise, vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services. The candidate must accurately diagnose and repair vehicles within reasonable timeframes, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and exceeds customer expectations. The successful candidate must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures and be capable of performing all duties associated with the role of a Vehicle Repair Technician. Strict adherence to all health and safety regulations is essential when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. The candidate will also be required to assist other members of the Service Department as operational needs arise, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the workshop.

Qualification

The candidate must have a recognised and completed trade test qualification, Matric / Grade 12 certificate and a valid driver’s licence.

Experience

A minimum of three years’ post-apprenticeship experience in the motor industry. Proven experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs within a dealership environment is essential.
